I’m Jeff Lamarand and I’m running for Mayor of Taylor.

Guiding this city through these difficult times will take real leadership.  These last 4 years of serving YOU on our city council has made it even clearer how desperately we need a change.  The current mayor has had 20 years with this city and 10 with Wayne County.  Unfortunately, experience isn’t always a positive influence. This is the 21st century; it’s time we had a modern, proactive approach within city hall.

Over the coming months I’ll share with you my vision for Taylor’s future, one that holds promise and prosperity for the CITIZENS of this community.  I’d also ask you to think about the following questions and check back often to share in this process. 

Are you safer today than you were 4 years ago?
Where are your tax dollars going?
What are the long term goals of the city?
What are your expectations of your elected officials?
What benefits have you, the taxpayer, experienced over the last 3 decades?
