Our current economic condition has greatly affected us all in some shape or form. This has prompted all of us to tighten our belts and become more efficient. This should also extend to our city as it does to government at all other levels.

The current administration uses brow raising procedures and practices, such as erroneous budget expenditures:

• Replacing all leased vehicles by purchasing new vehicles without cost analysis
• Using TIFA funds for unnecessary additions tothe Lakes of Taylor
• Replacing perfectly good carpeting in city hall

My plan will eliminate waste and utilize our current assets and I will evaluate and address the following:

• Implement a cost analysis before any major expenditure is submitted for approval
• Reduction/elimination of administrative perks
• Evaluate mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC energy consumptions and efficiencies
