We have missed many opportunities to take advantage of government funding that would provide energy efficient city buildings, thus reducing the burden on taxpayers.

My plan will include commissioning all city buildings and the benefits are as follows:

• Energy efficient, comfortable, and easily maintained facilities.
• Ensuring building systems are properly working according specifications.
• Reduced energy costs.
• Improved Indoor Air Quality.
• Improved occupant comfort and productivity.
• Achieving the best possible performance levels.

Is wind energy a viable resource for our area?  We have to balance costs with potential payback.
